Learn Spanish and Surf Program 2010

Enjoy a great educational experience this year in the tropical country of Costa Rica. Our Learn Spanish Surf Program is designed
for those who wish to learn Spanish or improve their Spanish and learn to surf. This is a great program for university
students and travelers alike really anyone wishing to learn Spanish and surf.
The Spanish courses at our school in San José,
Costa Rica have an average of 5 students per class and the school in Tamarindo have no more than 6 students per class, therefore you
will receive personalized attention from our professors and have sufficient time to participate. The daily Spanish classes emphasize
a large range of skills including: listening, reading, writing, oral comprehension, and history & culture of Costa Rica.
Our
program includes:
- Total Immersion
- Intensive Spanish Courses
- 2 weeks of Spanish classes in San José, Costa Rica 3 hours per day
(9:00am - 12 noon).
- Homestay in San José with 2 meals daily (breakfast & dinner)
- Whitewater rafting trip on the Pacuare River
while in San José.
- Transportation between San José Costa Rica and Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
- 2 weeks of Spanish classes in Tamarindo,
Costa Rica 4 hours per day (8:00am - 12 noon).
- Student residence in Tamarindo with kitchen facilities (no meals included).
- 2 weeks
of surfboard rental in Tamarindo, Costa Rica
- While in Tamarindo, Costa Rica three surf classes of two hours (6 hours). The first week
two classes and on the second week one class. One video analysis on their second week. Weekly Surf lectures, learn about
tides,currents,wind,different breaks.
As part of our Spanish program we offer free:
- Coffee, bread, and fresh tropical fruits on
breaks
- City orientation tour in San José.
- Wifi at our school
- Salsa dance classes twice per week in San José.
- Transportation from airport
in San José, Costa Rica to host family.
