The Spanish language classes at Central Valley Spanish School are designed to help the students study and learn Spanish abroad while in Costa Rica.  We are located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood of Moravia just 10 minutes from downtown San José.  We offer a standard Spanish Language Program package: 3 - 4 hours of daily instruction (15 - 20 lessons per week). Individual or small group Spanish language classes and afternoon activities that will compliment your learning experience in Costa Rica.  We hope you can come to Central Valley Spanish School to study and learn Spanish abroad in Costa Rica and enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer while studying abroad.

 

Our methodology is based on total immersion in the Spanish language, which helps the student learn Spanish naturally. We emphasize personalized attention for each student. We can also offer courses for special interests and requirements. We can also offer classes on the beach, either separately from San José or in combination (one week at each location or a similar arrangement).  Our study and learn Spanish abroad in Costa Rica program offers maximum flexibilty.  We are here for you!!!

 

Accomodations are a homestay with a local Costa Rican family whom go through extensive screening and are accustomed to having Spanish students.  At the homestay you continue to study and pratice the Spanish you have learned.  The homestay will enhance your study and learn Spanish abroad in Costa Rica experience.

Program cost start at $344 per week with a homestay!!!!!

Cost includes 15 hours of Spanish classes per week and 2 meals daily.

 

We use only professionally trained tour guides thst work well with students of Spanish.

 

Optional afternoon excursions and other cultural activities. Some activities are at additional charge.

Our schools director has experience in teaching Spanish as a second language since 1993 and was the director of the Spanish Program at one of the first Spanish language schools in Costa Rica (ICAI) a large private Spanish School for over 10 years, during this time she also worked with several colleges and universities in the United States by assisting them with their study abroad program.  She would prepare programs for their students to come to Costa Rica and study Spanish abroad.  She is also teaching groups that come to Costa Rica for Spanish classes in local universities in San José, Costa Rica.

 

We are able to assist the the students with tours and excursions.  We are familar with various tour operators and very familiar with the different areas of Costa Rica.  We have various tour operators available to assist the students and make recommendations for tours and excursions.  They are available  to assist the students with tours and excursions to enhance their visit to Costa Rica.  They can assist the students in choosing tours to the different areas of Costa Rica that the students may want to visit on the weekends.
