The Spanish language classes at Central Valley Spanish School are designed to help the students study and learn Spanish
abroad while in Costa Rica. We are located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood of San José. We offer a standard Spanish Language
Program package: 3 - 4 hours of daily instruction (15 - 20 lessons per week). Individual or small group Spanish language classes and
afternoon activities that will compliment your learning experience in Costa Rica. We hope you can come to Central Valley Spanish
School to study and learn Spanish abroad in Costa Rica and enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer while studying abroad.
Our
methodology is based on total immersion in the Spanish language, which helps the student learn Spanish naturally. We emphasize personalized
attention for each student. We can also offer courses for special interests and requirements. We can also offer classes on the beach,
either separately from San José or in combination (one week at each location or a similar arrangement). Our study and learn

Accomodations are a homestay
with a local Costa Rican family whom go through extensive screening and are accustomed to having Spanish students. At the homestay
you continue to study and pratice the Spanish you have learned. The homestay will enhance your study and learn Spanish abroad
in Costa Rica experience.

Program cost start at $354 per week with a homestay!!!!!
Cost includes 15 hours of Spanish classes per week and 2 meals daily.
Our tour guides are professionally trained and work well
with students of Spanish.
Optional afternoon excursions and other cultural activities. Some activities are at additional charge.

About our Directors
Our directors have been working in the tourism field in the areas of educational tourism teaching Spanish as a second language
to tourist in Costa Rica and leisure travel. They have been in the tourism field for over 16 years and with there experience they
have created an enjoyable atmosphere to study and learn Spanish abroad in Costa Rica.
Jacqueline Muñiz has been teaching Spanish as a second language since 1993. She was the director of the Spanish Program at one
of the first Spanish language schools in Costa Rica (ICAI) a large private Spanish School for over 10 years, during this time she
also worked with several colleges and universities in the United States by assisting them with their study abroad program. She
would prepare programs for their students to come to Costa Rica and study Spanish abroad. Jacqueline is also teaching groups
that come to Costa Rica for Spanish classes in local universities in San José, Costa Rica.
Bruce Cardner is from the United States and has been working in the travel industry since 1994. He was a Costa Rica
Specialist with GoGo Worldwide Vacations in Orlando, Florida. He assisted travel agents by putting together customized vacation
packages to Costa Rica for their clients. He has the knowledge to assist the students with tours and excursions to enhance their
visit to Costa Rica. Bruce is in charge of running the day to day operations of Costa Rica Travel Connection, this is Central
Valley Spanish School's in house travel agency.
